Under the sea…
This was the first cake Meoi and I made together and it was for her daughter’s first birthday. We knew that day we would be cake partners together and we both had a very special talent that complimented each other. This was Meoi’s first time working with fondant, and my third. All of the shells and lettering were molded from chocolate. Ariel’s grotto was actually carved out of styrofoam then covered with fondant. The coral was airbrushed to give it that under the sea feel. The cake was finished with crumbled cookies around it too look like the beach.

I was there for the party and I have never forgotten this cake! It was so yummy and I was so proud of Meoi that I actually took pictures of it myself and was bragging about it how good it was. Great job Ladies!
