This cake was created to match Pottery Barn’s Jungle Friends nursery set and for my sweet friend Erin. It’s a vanilla almond cake with fresh strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. The cake is covered in fondant with gumpaste animals/decorations. The stitching and clouds are hand painted.

This cake was made to celebrate the second anniversary of my Church. (Happy Birthday Highpointe!)

The bottom tier is a 16’square lemon cake with strawberry cream cheese swirl filling and vanilla butter cream.  The middle tier is a 12′ square  Chocolate liqueur cake with cherry filling and hazelnut butter cream.  The top tier is a 10’round almond cake with raspberry and bavarian cream filling.

All of the elements are handmade out of fondant/gum paste. The cake was quite large and was enough to feed over 300 people. It weighed in at well over 60 pounds. Included with this cake were 100 cupcakes in matching flavors.

To celebrate Tiffany’s 40th birthday, the girls and I created this Vera Bradley purse cake to match the party theme. It’s a white vanilla cake with a swirled strawberry custard filling and buttercream icing. The purse was hand sculpted of cake as well. All the decorations are made from fondant. Mini cupcakes with matching flowers were added just for fun!

This wedding shower cake is a rich milk chocolate cake with hazelnut butter cream. The cupcakes are lemon cake filled with strawberry cream cheese swirl filling and iced in lemon vanilla butter cream. The flowers were handcrafted petal by petal out of gum paste. The design of this cake was inspired by Pink cake box out of New Jersey. (Got to give credit where credit is due and pink cake box has some amazing desings! I am often inspired by them!)

This cake was inspired by Stephanie Meyers Twilight series.  It is a lemon cake with strawberry and cream cheese swirl filling.  The “New Moon feathers” are made from gum paste as are the logo and signs on the cupcakes which are hand painted.  I am on Team Edward by the way in case you were wondering.
