This was a small cake I kind of threw together for my niece’s birthday. She was turning 10 and I needed to come up with a design that was age appropriate. Her favorite colors are lime green and pink so I incorporated that in to her cake and made a few fondant flowers.

For my nephew’s 8th birthday a guitar superstar cake was requested. We carved the guitar out of cake and piped the guitar strings. We finished the cake with matching sparkles around the base to give it that movie star rock and roll feel.
