This cake was created to match Pottery Barn’s Jungle Friends nursery set and for my sweet friend Erin. It’s a vanilla almond cake with fresh strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. The cake is covered in fondant with gumpaste animals/decorations. The stitching and clouds are hand painted.

This is a rich chocolate cake brushed with a Kahula sugar wash, raspberry filling and then topped off with a chocolate hazelnut buttercream. This is a three layer rich double fudge cake that was brushed with a chocolate liqueur simple syrup and iced in chocolate hazelnut butter cream. The bottom tier is filled with butter cream and the top tier is filled with strawberry filling. The helicopter, banner and bi plane are made of fondant and gum paste.

This is a strawberry flavored cake with strawberry and cream cheese filling. The design was inspired by a design from Pink Cake Box based out of New Jersey. (We like to give credit where credit is due!) The mommy to be is hand sculpted from fondant.

This cake was done for a special friend’s baby shower to honor the arrival of her sweet pea. The cake was three tiers consisting of 12″-8″-5″ white vanilla cakes with raspberry and bavarian filling. The sweet pea and curly cues were made of gum paste and the bow and ruffle were made of fondant.

For my cousin’s baby shower we were asked to do a very simple looking cake to match her invitation. The cake was a white almond cake with fresh sliced strawberries and strawberry filling. You can see the invitation below that we were asked to match.
