Dali - Persistence of Time…

This cake was made for my brother in law.  It is a white vanilla cake with lemon filling.  The design was inspired by Salvador Dali’s painting “Persistence of Time.”  The darker shaded areas of the cake were made with a cinnamon rub.  The tree was hand painted and made of gum paste.

A sweet pea in a pod…

This cake was done for a special friend’s baby shower to honor the arrival of her sweet pea.  The cake was three tiers consisting of 12″-8″-5″  white vanilla cakes with raspberry and bavarian filling.  The sweet pea and curly cues were made of gum paste and the bow and ruffle were made of fondant.

I did it my way…

This cake was for an 80th birthday party.  We did a silhouette of Frank Sinatra with the famous Sands sign from Las Vegas.  We also made coordinating cupcakes.
